GIANTS: Art from the Dean Collection of SWIZZ BEATZ & ALICIA KEYS Preview Party
An opening celebration for fellow art enthusiasts, tastemakers, and museum and community members for an exciting after-hours party in the galleries celebrating our special exhibition opening. Guests enjoy premiere early access to the exhibition highlighting nearly 100 significant works by Black diasporic artists, enjoy musical entertainment, light bites, and a cash bar featuring specialty cocktails.
The design deck entitled, Gilded Roots, pulled inspiration from the exhibition’s emphasis on critiquing monumentalism and celebrating Blackness and creativity to express ourselves in the biggest way possible.
Bold colors and modern fixtures juxtaposed against the dramatic sight lines and soaring ceilings of the majestic marble corridor was a welcomed discord of classical architecture and swag reverberating throughout the space.
